Engineered to Suit the Canal Board Market
This engine has been designed to suit the market place, as standard it features the Newage PRM 150 hydraulic gearbox, twin alternators and a panel including a tachometer.

Engine Specification
The HMI marine engine range, based on the Solé diesel, has an engine specification unrivalled to none; the engines feature many of the accessories, which you, our customer requires. The standard engine specifications includes:

  • Water Cooled marine diesel engine
  • Emission compliant
  • Water Cooled manifold
  • Keel cooled to suit skin tank cooling
  • Fuel and oil filters
  • 12V Starter Motor
  • High level oil filler and dipstick
  • Earth Return engine wiring with 4M extension loom
  • PRM 150 Hydraulic Gearbox
  • Electric stop - energized to stop
  • Morse type connections for engine and gearbox
  • Twin Alternators, 50 & 80 Amp
  • Anti Vibration Mounts, for smooth engine running
  • Engine Control Panel, complete with Tachometer and hour recorder
  • Sump drain pump, for both engine and gearbox
  • 2 Year warranty in line with HMI term and conditions. (1 year on commercial applications)
