Mechanically Operated
PRM 80 & 120: These popular transmissions are mechanically operated; that is, they select rotation (ahead or astern) by simply shuttling a cone laterally backwards and forwards. With a reverse ratio of 2.56:1, the maximum input power for pleasure craft using the PRM 80 is 47hp, and 67hp for the PRM 120 (at a maximum running speed of 5000rpm)
