Hydraulically Operated

picture: PRM 150PRM 150D This unit, previously the Delta, vies in popularity with the PRM260D.  The 150D is the smallest hydraulically operated unit in the PRM range and its light aluminium construction performs particularly well on craft with a pleasure, or light-commercial rating.

The PRM 150 and the PRM 260 are used on craft with Pleasure, Light-Commercial and Heavy ratings.

picture: PRM 260PRM 260D: Over the years this has become the workhorse of inland waterways, and has traditionally been used by all of the major hire fleets.  It copes fantastically with the daily abuse it can receive on hire.  There have only been moderate changes to this model over the years, with bronze clutch plates and taper roller bearings being the major component improvements.
On the inland waterways the PRM 260 has been described as the "fit it and forget it" gearbox.  An Inline version is also available.
