Hydraulically Operated
PRM 500D: This transmission is generally considered first choice for working boats and small ferries etc,. It operates very well on faster flowing water, and is easily fitted with a live 'power take off' (PTO) for auxiliary onboad power.

PRM 750D: This gearbox has similar dimensions to the PRM 500D but is capable of taking more Torque. It is widely used on larger engine boats, barges and larger ferries, and can also be fitted with a live PTO. An Inline version is also available along with a down angle version (< 8 degrees).
Because of their ability to run happily at constant speeds in either direction, the inline unit is often used as a replacement for older and replacement Borg Warner transmissions.
