The Python-Drive is a unique modular drive system specifically designed to pass the maximum amount of power from the engine directly to the hull - and not through the engine blocks!
By separating the pushing power of the propeller from the vibration of the engine, and overcoming the need for perfect shaft alignment, the Python-Drive not only reduces the inevitable strain and wear on your driveline as a whole, but also decreases the accompanying vibration and noise passed through the hull. This is kinder for the engine and makes for a quieter, 'smoother' ride.

A range of units, imported into the UK exclusively by Albatross Marine Limited, are available in both metric and imperial shaft diameters, from ¾ inch (19.05mm) to 4 inches (100mm).

New Python-Drive !!To assist boat owners with current vibration problems where space is at a premium, Albatross Marine Limited are pleased to announce a new short version to fit 1.25in & 1.5in prop shafts. The overall length of the P60-K is 296mm with the mounting plate being located 237mm from the gearbox flange. The new model P60-B is 240mm long with the mounting plate @ 181mm from the gearbox. |
